Chi tratta i tuoi dati
I tuoi diritti
Scrivimi all’indirizzo qui sopra.

Who handles your data
This blog is mine, Daniele Teti, and I am the data controller. For any question about this page write to d.teti@bittime.it.
The site has no registration, no newsletter, and asks for no data to read the articles. The data involved is what the third-party services listed below collect, plus the normal web server logs.
Advertising: Google AdSense
These pages show ads served by Google AdSense.
- Google and its partners use cookies to show you ads based on your visits to this site and to other sites.
- If you give consent, ads are personalized. If you refuse, you see non-personalized ads, chosen from the page content and your approximate location.
- You can turn off Google’s personalized advertising in Ads Settings.
- For other vendors’ advertising cookies there are aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
How Google uses the data collected on its partners’ sites is explained here.
The consent banner
On your first visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland you see a Google banner asking for your consent. Your choice is stored in a cookie.
To change it, delete the cookies for danieleteti.it in your browser: the banner shows up again on the next visit.
Statistics: Google Analytics
I use Google Analytics 4 to know which articles get read and where readers come from. The IP address is anonymized and the site honors the browser’s “Do Not Track” setting: if it is on, Analytics does not start.
To opt out completely there is the Google opt-out add-on.
Comments: Disqus
Comments under the articles are handled by Disqus. Its code is loaded only when you reach the comments section. From then on Disqus can set its own cookies, and if you comment it handles your Disqus account data under its own policy.
Error monitoring: ExeWatch
The site uses ExeWatch to record JavaScript errors and count page views. I need it to notice when a page breaks. I do not use it to profile you or for advertising.
Other external resources
- The “Become a member” button loads a script from Patreon.
- Code highlighting loads a library from cdnjs (Cloudflare).
In both cases your browser contacts those servers and they see your IP address.
Server logs
The web server records IP address, date, requested page and user agent for every request, as any web server does. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
Legal basis
- Personalized advertising and statistics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Server logs and error monitoring: my legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure.
Your rights
You can ask me to access, correct or delete your data, and you can object to the processing. Write to the address above. If you believe your data is handled incorrectly you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
